Lapping Plate

Lapping plates are used to perform precision lapping and can be used on different materials such as granite or steel. The equally spaced serrations provided on the surface holds the lapping paste in place and provides for equal cutting at all points. The lapping plates are available in both square and round shape.

Lapping plates made from good quality close grained high density alloyed cast iron castings conforming to Grade FG 220 of IS: 210.
Stress relieved and hand scraped surface.
Generally supplied with 2 x 2 mm serrations.
