Cast Iron Angle Plate

As the name suggests, angle plate is used to check the squareness of a component. Both, the cast iron angle plate and the granite master angle plate have the same use i.e. to measure squareness or angular deviation from the vertical plane. Another major use of cast iron angle plates is during machining processes such as surface grinding or milling. Slotted angle plates are preferred for milling operation as it can be used to machine the parts successfully with high accuracy.

  • Made generally as per IS: 2554.
  • Made from good quality close grained with high density alloyed cast iron castings conforming to Grade FG-220 of IS: 210.
  • Stress relieved, hand scraped surfaces.
  • Webbed & Slotted for weight reduction.

Cast Iron Box Angle Plate are a good alternative for situation where there are multiple uses such as parallelism and squareness verification and machining.

  • Made from good quality, close grained, high density alloyed cast iron castings conforming to Grade FG-220 of IS: 210.
  • Stress Relieved and hand scraped surfaces.
